Step into Kafe Bohem, a charming cafe nestled in the heart of Storgata, Kongsvinger, where the ambiance feels like a warm embrace and the offerings are a delightful blend of comfort and creativity. With a phone number for easy reservations at +47 96 69 88 44, this is your go-to spot for a cozy retreat anytime you crave a touch of culinary perfection.

Kafe Bohem embraces the essence of a true European café with an inviting atmosphere that welcomes everyone—from bustling families to solo coffee seekers. The interior exudes cozy charm, with tasteful decor akin to a vibrant New York City café, complemented by a beautiful view of the surroundings.

One cannot visit without indulging in their bakery delights, particularly the famed cinnamon buns that patrons rave about. Customer Marie encapsulates this perfectly, stating, “Looovely. Friendly staff, excellent food and the cinnamon buns are thee best! Buns big as cakes and to die for.” Picture biting into a freshly baked cinnamon bun, the soft dough melting in your mouth, generously swirled with sweet, aromatic cinnamon and topped with a light glaze. Be sure to arrive early if you want to snag one before they vanish!

For those desiring something a tad heartier, their pizza is also worth noting. As customer Luisa Fernanda Rodriguez Campos mentions, the “pizza is super tasty,” and even during busy times, the amiable staff manage to maintain a pleasant experience. The flavorful selection showcases rich toppings layered over perfectly baked crust, creating an ideal meal for a mid-day break or an evening with friends.

Coffee lovers will find solace in Jostein Vaagland’s words, claiming Kafe Bohem serves “good coffee” paired with those decadent cinnamon rolls from the bakery next door. Imagine sipping a cup of robust, aromatic coffee as you soak in the atmosphere, perhaps even catching a glimpse of one of the last preserved phone booths in the area. Nick Paige describes this scene beautifully, commenting on the cozy setup that invites relaxation and conversation alike, noticing how the café remains an alluring option even on a cloudy day.

For those seeking a bit of outdoor pleasure, Kafe Bohem offers seating outside, perfect for enjoying your cup of strong coffee while soaking in the ambiance near the fortress on a sunny day, as shared by a satisfied customer. While it's important to note there may not be gluten-free options available, that shouldn't deter you from enjoying the cozy, inviting space that Kafe Bohem provides.

Whether you pop in for an afternoon coffee, share a pizza with loved ones, or treat yourself to the must-try cinnamon buns, Kafe Bohem stands out as a must-visit locale in Kongsvinger. Embrace the local charm, friendly service, and exquisite flavors that make every visit a delightful experience worth savoring.

Looovely. Friendly staff, excellent food and the cinnamon buns are thee best! Buns big as cakes and to die for. Get there early to secure a bun before they're sold out!

The pizza is super tasty. It was a bit crowded, but we managed to get a table without reservation. The food took some time to come, but the staff was amiable and as helpful and nice as possible.

Good coffee and cinnamon rolls to die for from the bakery next door with a view at one of the last 100 phone booths that was preserved and listed.

Cute spot with all the charm of a NYC cafe in Kongsvinger. Cozy interior with enough space for the whole family outside. Friendly and service minded staff. Good coffee, great beers, impressive selection of wines and pastries; plus a beautiful view even on a cloudy day!

Cosy spot close to the fortress, I had a cup of coffee there with my dad, nice and strong. Unfortunately no glutenfree pastry there. But this is rather uncommon in small town cafes anyways. If the weather is nice one can also sit outside.

Pleasant outdoor seating, delicious food, and very friendly and helpful service. They easily accommodated my wife’s gluten and dairy allergies and her meal was very nice. The avocado toast was more like a grilled cheese with ham and avocado, but it was very good. The shrimp salad on bagel had a very nice flavor profile.

Always worth a visit. I had the best caesarsalad ever. And the homemade limonade was quite good.
